Case Description:
Peggy Bryant was a chaperone for a group of young people traveling to Indiana
on a mission trip from a local Kansas City church. They were traveling in a van.
The van was hit by an uninsured driver. After the wreck, gasoline was pouring
into the van. Ms. Bryant suffered burns from the gasoline including extensive
damages to her sinuses and inner ear and a head injury. She was not able to return
to the same nursing job she was performing before the wreck.
